Our Commitment

Aristos ID is committed to ensuring that our digital identity services are accessible to all users, including people with disabilities. We aim to conform to WCAG 2.2 Level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, as required by the Digital ID (Accreditation) Rules 2024.

Measures We Take

  • Semantic HTML with proper heading hierarchy and ARIA landmark regions (role="main")
  • Skip-to-content link for keyboard users (visible on focus)
  • Keyboard navigation support with visible :focus-visible indicators on all interactive elements
  • Sufficient colour contrast ratios (minimum 4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text)
  • Form fields with associated labels, error messaging, and ARIA attributes
  • Resizable text that remains functional up to 200% zoom
  • No content that flashes more than three times per second
  • prefers-reduced-motion support — animations disabled for users who request it
  • prefers-contrast: high support — enhanced borders and outlines for high-contrast mode
  • Touch targets meet 44x44px minimum (WCAG 2.5.5)
  • ARIA live regions for dynamic content announcements
  • Screen reader-only (.sr-only) class for supplementary text
  • Support for assistive technologies including NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver
  • Mobile-responsive design that works across devices

If you encounter an accessibility barrier while using Aristos ID, please let us know. Include the page URL, the assistive technology you are using, and a description of the issue. We will acknowledge your report within 5 business days and work to resolve the issue.
